About The Event
Winter Light Trail
Christmas at Wollaton takes place at Wollaton Hall from 1st Dec - 1st Jan.
Roles Available
Front of House Assistants and Trail Stewards
Role Descriptions
Front of House Assistant:
• Ensure customers have their tickets ready for scanning on entry.
• Scan customer's tickets for entry into the event.
• Assist customers with any ticket-related queries and problem-solve where possible. Escalate issues to the Front of House Supervisor.
• Must have a pleasant demeanor and festive spirit!
Trail Steward:
• Must be confident in dealing with children or vulnerable adults. In the case of any lost property, lost children, and/or vulnerable adults, staff will report these to the Duty Manager on call, and escort them to the designated meeting point.
• Monitor visitors and report any public disorder to the Supervisor. Stewards must monitor and deter visitors from vandalism of any temporary or permanent structures, or inappropriate behaviour that falls out of the scope of the event, with a view to reporting to the Security contractor on site.
• In the case of public disorder, or any disruptive incident, Stewards must first attempt to diffuse any situation in a calm and collected manner and report the incident to the Security contractor onsite.
• Must have a pleasant demeanor and festive spirit!
Your role will be designated and briefed on-site, and may vary shift to shift.
Please note: Due to the length of the show, you will be required to work a minimum of 10 shifts. Priority will be given to those who can work 15+ shifts throughout the run.
All staff should be available to work one of the following: Christmas Eve, Boxing Day, New Years' Eve*
*You will be compensated for these show dates at 1.5x standard rate of pay (£18.49 per hr).
In line with our welfare policy, staff are unable to work more than 6 consecutive days.
You must be 18 or above to work at this event, please do not apply if you are under 18.
Hourly Pay
£12.33 (£11 + £1.33 holiday pay)
Working Hours
You are guaranteed to be paid for a minimum of five hours per shift. You will get a 15-minute unpaid break per shift, any break time over this will be paid.
Travel
Festivall do not provide transportation. Staff are responsible for making their own way to and from events.
