About Us

What We Do

Established in November 2021, off the back of the success of Kent Event Services (KES) and Yorkshire Event Services (YES), Festivall Staff was set up to provide work opportunities at festivals, festive events, and more nationwide .

We at Festivall pride ourselves on offering top opportunities for people of all levels. Whether itā€™s your first festival or youā€™re an event professional, we have a job for you.

We recruit staff for events that are based all around the country, meaning you can always find a roles to suit you, no matter where youā€™re located.

Our Values

  • Staff Welfare always has and always will be top of the Festivall agenda. Thatā€™s why for every 3 hours our staff work, they accrue 15 minutes of break time. Weā€™re also proud to say that all of our full time team are now Mental Health First Aiders.

  • Our company was founded in the Garden of England - Kent - and so being green has always been close to our heart; both internally and externally. Thatā€™s why in 2022, we offset our carbon emissions and planted over 350 trees for each member of staff we employ. Weā€™ve already doubled that in 2023, and canā€™t wait to do more!

  • We know that money is a motivation for our staff so weā€™ve paid the Living Wage since we started. It is our belief that a team with higher quality remuneration are in a position to provide an even better experience to our clients. From April 2024, we will pay from Ā£12ph outside of London, and from Ā£13.15ph within London.

Q: Whatā€™s your most favourite thing about working in the events industry?

A: I love how everyday is different. No two events are the same, you can be working with a completely different team, on a different site, with a different purpose every weekend!

Q: If you could choose any superpower to use at work, what would it be and how would it help?

A: As useful as an extra pair of hands may be, if I had to pick just one I would want the power of invisibility. I could go backstage and into the artist only areas or even join my favourite bands on stage when they are performing!

Q: If you could work at any festival in the world, what would it be?

A: Itā€™s a tough choice but I think it would have to be Burning Man. The thought of being a part of such a large and alternative event excites me and would be completely different from anything that I have done before. Close second goes to Glastonbury.

Q: What is your favourite memory working in events?

A: It's genuinely too hard to choose one singular memory, but what I do know is that all of my top memories involve people being happy. Whether this was a drunk customer storming towards me at my campsite management office just to tell me that the staff had been fantastic or a steward getting emotional about how scared she was to start work as she'd never had a job before us and how we made it so easy by having such a friendly team.

Q: Whatā€™s the BEST event youā€™ve been to, and why?

A: Thatā€™s not an easy one to answer having worked and attended so many! I guess most recently I took some time out in Las Vegas for When We Were Young Festival which was the first time Iā€™d felt like Iā€™d attended an event in a very long time - Iā€™ve already rebooked for this year!

Having built your way up through the company, what have you learnt over your time at Festivall?

From starting with KES to now being part of The Occasionall Group office team, I have learnt a lot in the space of a good few years. Some of the main lessons/skills I've learnt are how to be a good supervisor and how to communicate better with people on both social and professional aspects.

Summer or Winter: What is your favourite event season and why?

I would have to say summer. Iā€™m someone who loves being in the sun, British weather permitting of course, and seeing people out and about. I love seeing everyone's festival outfits as well!
